My fascination with games started when I was younger and as a way to bond with my younger brother. That attraction eventually morphed into curiosity about the inner workings of the games that I played. It led me to study game design and working in the industry.

As I worked in the games industry, my game design philosophy evolved into one where I place emphasis on the player/s enjoyment. Player's enjoyment would be the driving force of my design because they are a priority for any game.

It is a never-ending learning journey, and I relish the challenge with each step I take.

Professional Experience

2024 - 2025

Level design QA; Contract

Bandai Namco Studios Singapore

This contract increased my familiarity using Unreal Engine 5. I was able to bring my experience with various skills to the table as well. Ranging from QA, level design, UI/UX designer and problem solving.

2020 - 2023

Game Designer

Deep Dive Studios

My years as a Game Designer have further refined my skills in designing game mechanics, UI/UX design, communication with the programming and art department, and various other skills.

2017 - 2019

Software Developer

Vouse

Working as a Software Developer has allowed me to become familiar with blueprint scripting and the various tools in Unreal Engine 4.

Game Design & Writing Intern

Witching Hour Studios

My time at Witching Hour Studios was spent worldbuilding for unannounced games before switching over to help out in the game's design by looking at the numbers and hosting playtest sessions.

2025

Hirogami

Helped to ship the game, I was finding and fixing bugs, as well as handling miscellaneous tasks like Localizing text to pass to the team.

2023

Tic Tac Bow

As a game designer, I proposed and drove the overhaul of the friendly battle section, a player vs player arena that players can engage in.  

April 2023

Dino Dash Party

As a game designer, I continued the design for several mini games after the conceptualization stage. I was the point of contact for the design team and participated in the discussions with regard to the timeline and scope.

April 2023

Fantasy Food Tower

As a game designer, I was in charge of the systems outside of gameplay. I designed the quest, log in, and collection systems. Furthermore, I created the UI layout and flow from the startup to the main menu and the relevant screens.

September 2016

Masquerada: Songs & Shadows

As a game design and writing intern, I was tasked with looking over at the completed script for Masquerada. Other than making sure that the continuity was correct, I contributed to the ambient dialogue as well.
